Project Overview
AirLink is a complete complaint management and administrative communication platform designed to help organizations manage public complaints, users, geographic regions, and operational communication from one centralized system.
I developed the Android application, web interface, and backend, creating an end-to-end solution that connects users, administrators, support staff, complaint workflows, and real-time notifications.
Problem & Objective
Organizations that handle public complaints often rely on fragmented processes such as phone calls, paper records, messaging applications, and manually maintained spreadsheets.
This creates several operational problems:
Complaints can become difficult to track
Users may not know the current status of an issue
Different staff members may have unclear responsibilities
Administrators lack a centralized operational view
Area-specific communication becomes difficult
Important announcements may not reach the correct users quickly
AirLink was built to replace these disconnected processes with a structured digital complaint-management workflow.
End-to-End System Development
The project includes three connected components:
Android application
Web-based administrative system
Custom PHP and MySQL backend
I worked across the complete system, implementing the user-facing application, administrative workflows, backend logic, data management, authentication, and communication features.
This made it possible to maintain a consistent data flow between mobile users, administrators, and operational staff.
Complaint Lifecycle Management
Complaints are organized through clearly defined workflow stages:
Pending
Processing
Closed
This structure allows administrators and support personnel to understand the current state of each complaint and move cases through an organized resolution process.
Instead of treating complaints as isolated messages, the system maintains them as trackable records with a clear lifecycle.
Role-Based Administration
AirLink supports multiple administrative roles, including:
Super Admin
Admin
Operator
Support
Each role can be given access according to its operational responsibilities.
This provides a more controlled administrative environment and prevents every staff member from receiving unrestricted access to all system functions.
Dynamic Administrative Dashboard
The administrative dashboard provides a centralized overview of important system information.
It includes live or dynamically retrieved statistics for areas such as:
Registered users
Complaint volumes
Complaint statuses
Administrative data
Geographic regions
Thana
Union
Village
This gives administrators a clearer view of platform activity without requiring them to manually review individual records.
Geographic Data Management
AirLink includes a structured location hierarchy using geographic information such as Thana, Union, and Village.
This allows users and complaints to be associated with specific regions and enables administrators to understand activity based on location.
Geographic organization also supports one of the platform's most important communication features: area-targeted notifications.
Targeted Push Notifications
A major feature of AirLink is its flexible push-notification system.
Administrators can send notifications to:
All users
A specific individual
Users within a selected geographic area
This makes communication significantly more useful than a basic broadcast-only notification system.
For example, an organization can send a localized service announcement only to users within a particular area instead of unnecessarily notifying the entire user base.
Backend & Data Management
The backend was developed using PHP and MySQL, providing centralized APIs and business logic for the Android and web applications.
The backend handles core operations such as:
User authentication
Complaint storage and updates
Role-based administrative operations
Geographic information
Dashboard data
User management
Notification-related workflows
The separation between clients and backend services provides a structured foundation for maintaining the platform across both mobile and web interfaces.
System Architecture
Component | Purpose |
|---|---|
Android App | User interaction and complaint-related functionality |
Admin Website | Administrative control and operational monitoring |
PHP Backend | Business logic and API processing |
MySQL Database | Persistent system data |
Push Notifications | Real-time user and area-based communication |
Business Value
AirLink converts complaint handling from a fragmented manual process into a centralized operational workflow:
Complaint Submission → Review → Processing → Resolution → Communication
For administrators, it provides better visibility into complaints, users, staff responsibilities, and regional activity.
For users, it creates a more structured interaction channel and enables faster communication through targeted notifications.
The project demonstrates my ability to build a complete multi-platform system, including Android development, web administration, backend APIs, relational database design, authentication, role-based access, complaint workflows, live statistics, and targeted push communication.
